Great news from the SEB camp this week! We have finally put the finishing touches on our 1st single from our upcoming 2012 album release and we are ready to unveil it to the world! The new song, “My House Is Hard to Find” was recorded and engineered in Arizona by Aaron Miller, and was written by Mike Galli and the Stephanie Eason Band. We are truly excited about the new music!
For those of you that have seen us at live performances over the past few months, you’ve heard the new track performed live… Tomorrow morning, at 8:30 AM MST, the Stephanie Eason Band will be interviewed on Big Country 97.9 FM (KXBG Cheyenne/Denver) and Scott and Sadie will debut the song on their show! If you’re not in the Denver metro area, you can listen online at www.bigcountry979.com to hear it. Following the broadcast, the new track will be available via iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon, and other online retailers.
We hope you will tune in to share in the excitement of the live song debut! Also, if you’re going to be in Colorado this weekend, the SEB will be making a stop at Whiskey River Saloon in Greeley. It’s our first time at the new venue, so we hope you’ll stop by and show your support!

Help the Stephanie Eason Band to be nominated for "best local band" in the New Times Readers Poll

Hello Friends,

It's that time of year again...The Phoenix New Times is accepting nominations for the annual "Best Of" Phoenix issue. The Stephanie Eason Band could use your help this year in making the list. When you have a moment, please visit http://polls.phoenixnewtimes.com/polls/phx/bestof2011/ and answer the questions. You don't have to fill in a response for everything, but you do have to answer at least 10 of the questions. Any help you could give the New Times and the SEB would be greatly appreciated! The question about "Best Local Band" is number #106 on the list. There is also a "Best Country and Western Nightspot" category (question #109), so pick your favorite bar and add it in as well! You can vote through August 17th. Thanks in advance for your help and we'll see you at a show soon!

1st Track for new album recorded and mixed

Hello Friends,

Some great news from the SEB camp this week...The band has finished recording and mixing their first track from their upcoming 2011 release. The song, titled "My House is Hard to Find" will be appearing on a CD scheduled to release later this year. The song was recorded and mixed in Casa Grande. The band chose to record the track in Arizona rather than Nashville this time because they wanted to showcase not only a new track, but also the talents of some of Arizona's recording studios and engineers. The song will be released in the coming weeks to our mailing list members for download...If you haven't joined our mailing list yet, make sure you do! Email list members will have the first opportunity to purchase the new track as well as the new album, when it becomes available.

A huge thank you is also in order for those that have sent tracks to the band to potentially record. We are listening through all of them now and will be deciding what tracks will work for the band for their upcoming release. The band has also been collaborating on some more original material, and we are all excited about the results. We'll keep you posted as more tracks become available for download.

Some great shows are coming up in the next few weeks as well... This weekend, the Stephanie Eason Band will be headed to Flagstaff to open up for Cody Canada (formerly of Cross Canadian Ragweed). If you've never seen Cody perform, you're missing out. He and Ragweed pretty much helped define the "red dirt" country sound of Texas and Oklahoma and the shows are always high energy. The SEB are looking forward to opening that show. In August, the Stephanie Eason Band will also be opening for Granger Smith and Hunter Hayes. They are also working on a few other special events, and we'll keep you posted. If you haven't viewed the scheduled lately, stop by our site or visit Pollstar.com for details.

Looking forward to recording some more new tracks and working on the next album! Hope to see you at a show soon!

Thanks,

June Recap-Production on new CD underway!

Hello Friends,

June was a very productive and busy month for the Stephanie Eason Band. Our summer tour took us to Denver and the Greeley Stampede for a series of great shows! In Denver, we had the opportunity to open for the Eli Young Band again, and it was a great experience. They remembered us from our tour date with them in Phoenix in May and were great to work with again. "Chief" (the guitar tech and sound engineer for EYB) even tipped his hat to Steph like a true southern gent should...Ha ha. Stephanie felt right at home, and it looks like the Stephanie Eason Band might be opening more shows for the Eli Young Band later this summer/fall. We'll keep you posted! It's just going to be an adventure keeping all of the letters straight (SEB, EYB, etc.). If we added the James Parks Band (JPB) and A Boy Named Sioux (ABNS) to the bill, we could just call it the "Alphabet Soup" Tour...On second thought...Nawwww

While we were in Denver, we also had the opportunity to open for James Otto and his band. They were fabulous musicians, and the bass player had TWO (count them, TWO) 8x10 bass cabinets on stage with him. Eric's puny little 2x10 cabinet was no match for the rumble of the big Ampeg cabinets. It made for a bass-ful sort of night. Eric melted with every note and the walls at Toby Keith's rumbled. Rock on!

The Greeley Stampede was a pleasure again this year as well. Scott James and his crew at Big Country 97.9 FM were very excited to see us again and they were great to work with again this year. We played Saturday and Sunday. Saturday, we played before Clint Black and Josh Kelley, and Josh and Erik stopped by to see some of our set. It was nice to see them again after our show with them in AZ in May! Sunday afternoon, we shared the stage with the "Big Country Idol" competition. There were some truly talented singers up on stage. It takes a lot to actually get over the stage fright and get up on a big stage in front of folks to sing. Kudos to all of the singers!

The drive home was in interesting one... Brandon had a small family emergency (thankfully everything is OK), so he had to fly out of Denver on Monday AM to take care of it. Mike had to go to California, so it left Stephanie, Josh, and Eric on driving duty back to AZ. We hit a huge hailstorm on the NM/CO border. It was quite the site! 16 hours of driving later, we pulled into Phoenix. Josh didn't even sleep a wink the whole ride. All of us started getting a bit loopy toward the end of the trip, but we made it home safely and enjoyed a few days of R&R. The new tour van held up well, and when it was all said and done, we put 3000 miles on it in a period of 10 days...We gave the van a well deserved break as well...It's off duty until Thursday.

The following week, it was off to the studio! Production is officially underway on the new CD, and we are very pleased with the results. The first track we decided to tackle was "My House is Hard to Find". It's a song that was written by Mike Galli. We really liked the message in the song and the groove, and we think y'all will enjoy it as well. Some of you have probably already heard the song played live at our performances. The band is VERY excited to be working on new material for our fans and family. I think Mike's family have worn out at least three copies of "The Red Letter Days" already, so we should probably get them something new to listen to! The new track will be available to our mailing list members first as soon as it is complete, so if you know anyone that isn't in our little group of the "cool kids", have them sign up on our mailing list so they can get in on the action. Unfortunately, we are out of secret decoder rings and badges to hand out, so new music will have to suffice for now.

Also, if you haven't "demanded" the Stephanie Eason Band in your town yet, please take a moment to go to Eventful and request us in your town. We're working on adding more dates around the country and we'd like to know exactly where our fans want us to go!
SEB Colorado Tour- Update 6/27/11

Good Morning Friends,

It has truly been a wonderful week on the road through Colorado. The band has enjoyed the cooler weather and meeting some new friends along the way...

Saturday was a busy day in the SEB camp. We had two shows scheduled in one day. The first stop was the Greeley Stampede. Scott James, Big Rob, and Sue from Big Country 97.9 FM were all on hand for our show at Stampede and they were wonderful to work with again this year. For our fans in the Denver/Cheyenne area, you need to "make the switch" (as they say) and start listening to Big Country 97.9 FM. They are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and they are really working to make a difference in Northern Colorado. We're working on partnering with them now to pur together a big show for September 11th to honor our troops, so we'll keep you posted as the details come together...

Sooo, the show on Saturday was a lot of fun. About halfway through our set, Erik (from Josh Kelley's band) strolled over to say hello. He didn't have any card tricks for us this time, but it was great to see him and catch up on the band's adventures. Josh Kelley and his wife dropped by to catch a piece of our set as well, and it was great to have the oppoprtunity to perform at the festival with them. All in all, a great afternoon!

As soon as we stepped off stage in Greeley, it was time to put the pedal to the metal and get back to Denver for an evening show with James Otto at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar in Denver. We arrived at TK's just in time to do a line check and step on stage to open the show for James. The crowd was very friendly and we had another high energy set. James's band was AMAZING! The rhythm section made Brandon, Eric, and Josh melt (and want to rehearse...they felt like total amateurs next to the grooves those guys were laying down). The bass player had two 8x10 bass cabinets on stage, and the whole building rumbled every time he hit a note. WOW! We also found out after the show that the drummer was actually just filling in for the night. It made the band seem even more amazing.

After the show, Brandon and Josh showed off their super cool dance moves in the parking lot and also put on a shadow puppet show...OK, that one needs an explanation... So, the Best Western we stayed at was right next to the Radisson. The Radisson had large spotlights shining up on the side of the building (which angled up kind of like the Pyramid of the Luxor in Las Vegas, but not quite as sharp of an angle). Well, Josh and Brandon decided that it would be a really great idea to make shadow puppets on the wall...that were ten stories high...One of them was the "white mamba" and the other was something else...I think a Star Wars style lightsaber battle ensued as well, but by that time Mike and Eric had already wandered off to the hotel, leaving Brandon and Josh to their shadow puppet adventures...and proving once again that we are a bunch of nerds, but we have fun anyway! I believe we might even have some video of the shenanigans...We'll see if the paparazzi decides to post it up...Ha ha

Sunday morning, we drove back to Greeley for our final performance for the week at the Greeley Stampede. It was a warm afternoon, but the shade started creeping in on the Big Country stage and it made for a cooler afternoon while we were doing our set. The crowd reacted very well and we made quite a few new friends. There was a rough and rowdy bunch that wandered over while we were playing Devil Went Down toi Georgia, and when we broke into Queen, the gents threw their arms up and gave us the "rock on" symbol...Better that than the one finger salute...Ha ha...I think we officially converted them to the country scene...Mission accomplished...Thanks to all that stopped by to say hello after our show at the 97.9 Big Country RV. We really enjoyed the opportunity to chat with everyone. After the show, we headed to our "home away from home", the Van Driel residence... Bryan grilled up the burgers and Marcia set us up with all the fixins we could eat. Afterwards, we sat up until around midnight laughing and chatting. Lara was in town visiting from Texas, so we all got the chance to see her baby Cadence again...She is the cutest baby ever, and she might officially be the youngest SEB fan that we have (definitely the most dedicated fan)...We also discovered that Cadence might have a career as a drummer, as she was twirling a fruit kabob stick like nobody's business...Ha ha. I guess Brandon will have to start giving her lessons...Maybe when she's 2 or 3... Anyhow, spending the evening with friends was a great way to close out our Colorado portion of the summer tour for the Stephanie Eason Band.

It's just about time to hop back in the van and head back to the heat of Arizona. We'll be off on vacation this week, but next week we'll be back to work. It looks like we're going to be filming a music video in July as well...We'll keep you posted on the details there.

Colorado, thank you for a great adventure and we look forward to seeing you again in September!

Thanks,

Stephanie Eason Band

Thanks,

SEB Colorado Tour- Day 3 Recap

Hello Friends,

We had an awesome show with the Eli Young Band on Thursday night! Mike, James, Keith, Jon, Chief, and the whole crew are some of the nicest human beings on the planet! The Eli Young Band's fans were wonderful as well. We met some folks that flew a thousand miles or more to see the band play, and some of them were waiting inside Toby Keith's as early as soundcheck at 5 PM. Dani and Shelby, you guys rock! Thanks for listening to the soundcheck and hanging out all night. Michaela, Ben, Rachel, and the rest of the gang by the side of the stage were equally cool, and it was nice to be able to meet some folks after our set. The rum buckets were pretty tasty too :-)

We had a new sound man for Thursday night, Kevin (although Blake was there to help us set up). Kevin was excellent to work with and a really funny guy too. He told us some interesting stories about bands, road managers, and others...Not sure if we can repeat them here (not really SEB approved sorts of stories), but they were defintely entertaining! He was also a very talented sound engineer and he made us sound fantastic. Thanks so much for all of your help Kevin. I think we're going to need to steal both Kevin and Blake away for future tours.

After the show, we relaxed with the Eli Young Band and traded "tech talk" (all sorts of tasty guitar tricks and tips) and road stories. It looks like we might be doing some more dates with the Eli Young Band in the coming months as well. We'll keep you posted. By the way, if you've never heard the Eli Young Band before, you definitely need to hop on iTunes and download their music. The band has a new album coming out in less than eight weeks. Buy it and support Texas Country!

2 AM rolled around and the gang got hungry, so we decided on Del Taco (mainly because it was the only thing open). Somehow, Brandon managed to navigate the van and trailer through a few curves and into the drive-thru of the Del Taco. It was an amazing test of his trailer navigational skills. Jeff Lodge and our other truck driving friends would've been proud! A few burritos and tacos later, and it was off to dreams of the Greeley Stampede... Looking forward to the shows there in Saturday and Sunday!

Thanks,

Stephanie Eason Band

Denver Tour...Day Two Recap

Hello Friends,

Day two was another great adventure in the world of the SEB... The gang got to sleep in (except Eric...He was throwing rocks at our hotel room windows at 7 AM and was already on his third cup of coffee and 18th email)... After a refreshing stay at the Microtel in Pueblo, the gang got on the road and just as we were all getting hungry...POOF... A Chipotle appeared like a sign from above...actually it was just a big sign from the I-25, but we noticed it and had to stop. Chipotle, if you're looking for a band to sponsor, we'll ride around in a burrito shaped tour bus toting the greatness that is your chicken burrito...Let us know! Steph always sems to carry a half of a Chipotle burrito in her purse at all times anyway, so it seems fitting for a Chipotle endorsement deal. I know there's a commercial idea in there somewhere...Ha ha

On the way up, we drove through Eric's hometown of Colorado Springs. Contrary to popular belief, he wasn't born in a barn or on another planet...Two hours later, we were in Denver...And in traffic...I think Denver officially wins the award for the weirdest street configurations in a town we've toured so far, but Josh mentioned that Seatlle was ten times worse. It's the Mile High city, with mile long traffic jams at every intersection! Needless to say, we made it to Toby Keith's at around 2:30 and started setting up for our first show in Colorado. Mike's flight was on time (thankfully) and he arrived on the scene at about 2:30 as well. Blake (our sound engineer) was AWESOME. Really nice guy with a great sense of humor. He didn't even flinch when we kept bringing instrument after instrument up to the stage (and asked for five seperate in-ear monitor mixes)...Thanks for your patience with us Blake!

After soundcheck, it was off to the hotel to check in...We're moving up in the world people...We're at the Best Western instead of the Motel 6... Yeah, we're rock stars altright...Ha ha. They even have a real breakfast instead of the whole english muffin and 3 day old coffee routine! Thanks Toby Keith's for putting us up in style this week.. I think Brandon mentioned that they might even put mints on our pillows while we're gone today. High class, I tell you...Ha ha

Our first show was fantastic! Lots of energy and some amazing guitar work from Josh. He stepped up on stage and owned it without even a single rehearsal! The crowd reacted well and we're looking forward to our opening show with the Eli Young Band tonight at Toby Keith's. We met some really nice locals as well. We tought Sal and Margarita how to two-step and they started showing us some salsa dancing techniques...The dance floor also turned into something reminiscent of a Flogging Molly or Dropkick Murphys show when we busted into Orange Blossom Special. Thanks to all that stopped in to say hello and bought a CD or a shirt. We had a great time and look forward to more excellent shows this week.

Just about time to scour the area for food and do some hotel room rehearsing to get ready for the show tonight...More to come!

Thanks,

Stephanie Eason Band

Denver Trip...Day One Recap

Hello Friends,

17 hours later (yes, we drove slow and stopped for a lot of bathroom breaks and general distractions) and we made it to Pueblo, Colorado. A relaxing night of sleep at the Microtel in Pueblo, coffee and donuts this morning, and now two hours to Denver to start setting up for our week of shows there...

Day one in the van was an interesting one... We got bored and decided to start trying to figure out what animal every band member most represented... The verdict... Brandon is an ostrich (he proceeded to bury his head in the seat of the van after we decided on it, further proving our theory...ha ha)... Our new guitar player Josh is a toss up between goat and sheep (if you see his hair and his beard, you'l understand this one!)... Eric is a beaver (just without the buck teeth...A sea otter would've been way too cute to user to describe him, so beaver it was)... Mike was excused from the animal naming, as he's flying in to Denver to meet us today (he was smart enough to know that an 18 hour car ride with the rest of us would end up being silly). We'll just have to pick his animal later...Is there an animal that can play any instrument on the planet well, is super nice, and a worry-wort all in one? If there is, that's Mike :-) As for Stephanie, there were some interesting ideas... Fox, Ferret, Swan, "Liger" (from Napoleon Dynamite), and more. The jury is still out on that one :-)

We established our "road trip food" rules as well... As it stands, corn nuts and beef jerky are strictly prohibited on the bus... Doritos are discouraged (because of the way they smell), but they were tasty enough to make the cut... I think we all agreed that Blue Powerade will not be allowed on the van, especially after Steph's "Smurf Spill" accident at the McDonald's (she spilled an entire cup of blue Powerade in the women's restroom and we tried to blame it on a misbehaving Smurf...Don't think it worked though). Brandon was the first one to be adventurous and sample a truck stop hamburger... It was surprisingly tasty, but we quickly realized it didn't mix well with Red Bull... I think we might have to outlaw truck stop burgers now as well...

At one point in the evening, Josh broke out the acoustic guitar and Eric grabbed his bass and the band jammed out a few tunes to pass the time. Brandon's "air drums" were simply amazing! Ha ha. We're all really excited to try out some of the newer tunes in Denver this week.

We are still trying to come up with a name for our tour van...It's a feisty old bugger.. We've had some interesting suggestions so far... "Fran the Van, Sooki, The Hag (as in Merle Haggard), Penelope, and many more... Still haven't decided if it's a boy or girl... Hmmmmm... We'll have to think about this one some more today... Thanks to all who sent suggestions via Facebook, by the way. Keep 'em coming.

Well, time to reload the coffee and get the gang on the road again...More to come later!

Thanks,

Stephanie Eason Band

Hello friends,

As I'm writing this, we're about an hour out of Flagstaff and on our way to Denver for the Colorado leg of our 2011 summer tour. it's going to be an exciting and busy week for all of us. :-)

We start Wednesday night at Toby Keith's in Denver. We also have shows scheduled with the Eli Young Band, James Otto, Clint Black, and Josh Kelley, and a stop at the Greeley Stampede this week.

We're testing out the new tour van this week, and so far, so good. The engine putts along and the A/C runs cold, so we're in good shape so far. there's even space to bust out the instruments and serenade each other ... ha ha...We still need to name the van, so if anyone has ideas, send them our way. It's a big white Ford passenger van...

Josh Sampson is joining us on guitar for the first time as well. He comes to the S.E.B. via Spokane, Washington, and we're happy to have him on board. He's never really been to Arizona, so he's fascinated with cacti. We had to remind him not to hug the cacti :-)

A few cups of coffee and a carmel machiatto and we're ready to roll down the highway! exciting adventures already, and more to come. we'll see y'all in Denver tomorrow.

thanks,

Stephanie Eason Band

Hello Friends,

The Stephanie Eason Band are in the process of preparing for their first ever music video and we could use your help in picking the song to use for the video. We will be shooting the video in July in Arizona with Anthony Medina directing it. Anthony's crew are busy coming up with storyboards and ideas, but they really want to know what song from "The Red Letter Days" the SEB fans would like to see turned into a video. You can cast your vote by visiting the Stephanie Eason website or by responding to the poll on Facebook. We would appreciate any feedback you could give, so vote away! In the meantime, don't forget to continue requesting "Holdin' On" on your local radio stations. You can request the SEB by clicking on any of the links on our "Request the SEB" page.

Hope to see you at a show soon!

We would appreciate any feedback you could give, so vote away! In the meantime, don't forget to continue requesting "Holdin' On" on your local radio stations. You can request the SEB by clicking on any of the links on our "Request the SEB" page.
Hope to see you at a show soon!

Stephanie Eason Band Opening for Frankie Ballard this weekend at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar

Hello Friends,

I hope everyone is enjoying their three day weekend for President's Day (unless you're actually working today, in which case...Happy Monday?). The Stephanie Eason Band tried out a new venue for us last weekend in Phoenix, the Whiskey River Saloon. It was a fun venue, and we really appreciated all of the cheers during our soundcheck that evening...I think that's the biggest response we've ever gotten at a soundcheck before...Ha ha...A big thank you to the Buckeye Fan Club for making it a great night at Whiskey River. We hope to head back there again in June or so. Thanks again for making our first event there a memorable one!

Some other great news this weekend...Our good friend and fellow musician James Parks won the KNIX Battle of the Bands Competition on Saturday night! Top prize was $3500, so we were happy to see him win...and we know who to turn to for a loan to help pay for our tour bus :-) Make sure you send out some congrats to James next time you see him and be sure to check out his music at www.jamesparksmusic.com

This weekend is going to be an exciting weekend as well. The Stephanie Eason Band will be performing this Friday and Saturday night at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill in Mesa. It's NASCAR weekend, so we're expecting a lot of race fans and country fans in town for the weekend to see the show. We'll be there Friday and Saturday night. Friday, the SEB will be entertaining you from 9 PM to close. On Saturday, it's going to be a jam packed day at Toby Keith's, as the afternoon will begin at 5 PM with a 90 minute peformance from the SEB to close out the AZ Freedom Ride Bike Run. The Freedom Ride is an annual bike run that benefits the Wounded Warrior Project. It's a great cause, and an excuse to take the bike out for a ride on a beautiful Arizona Saturday. Details can be found by following this link: www.jjpromotes.com/AZFreedomride.html . Following the performance by the SEB, Toby Keith's I Love this Bar will be broadcasting the pay-per-view UFC Championship Fight on the big screens at 7 PM (UFC 127-Penn vs. Fitch). Nashville recording artist Frankie Ballard (www.frankieballard.com) will be taking the stage at Toby Keith's following the fight at approximately 10 PM. Frankie was the big winner of the Kenny Chesney "Next Big Star" Competition in 2008 and was signed to Reprise records shortly thereafter. His debut album features the hit single "Tell Me You Get Lonely". It should be a great show! The Stephanie Eason Band will be back up on stage after Frankie's set for another 90 minute set of covers and songs from their album "The Red Letter Days". We're looking forward to a fun evening of music and...sports?

Hope to see you this weekend at Toby Keith's!

Thanks,

Stephanie Eason Band

Thanks,

Hello Friends,

I hope all is well in your world and you've finally finished off the last of the leftover Christmas ham or turkey...I think we finished up the last of the ham sandwiches over the weekend, so now it's time to get ready for all of the leftovers from the upcoming Super Bowl parties in the next two weeks :-)

The SEB's Christmas Vacation and a Big party for New Year's Eve!

Hello Friends,

I hope that your belly is full and you had a wonderful holiday weekend with your family and friends. If you didn't, then hopefully you got to throw snowballs at someone, or at least enjoy some pizza and a football game or two. The SEB enjoyed a wonderful weekend of R&R with their families...with the exception of Eric...I think he played six gigs in two days, wrote seven blogs, and grew a Christmas tree in his backyard from a sapling while Christmas caroling with his family and squeezing in a game of euchre, but he's kind of weird like that anyway... :-)

As for the rest of the gang, Mike and Karen enjoyed a weekend with family and friends, and Mike officially went a full week without learning to play some sort of new instrument...Guess he'll just have to double up next week! Mike and Karen's looked lovely with all of the Christmas decorations...There's just something interesting and inherently funny about candy canes and cacti (the plural of cactus...trust me...we Googled it...ha ha) on the front lawn.

Stan spent his week being thankful that he didn't have to hang any more drywall at the new studio that he's building (unofficially, the home for wayward SEB's) for us. He also had time for tea and to write our next three albums worth of material while maintaining a balanced diet filled with many probiotics, pistachios, and other creamy goodness. We're all looking forward to the next chance to huddle up by the fire in his living room and then head down to the studio to work on the new album in 2011!

Stephanie and Brandon spent the holiday with the Eason family, and judging from the food spread on the table and the good company, I'd say it was a wonderful day...They have many things to be merry about this year, and we're all looking forward to planning "the big day" in 2011...No, we're not talking Superbowl party here, we're taking marriage folks! For those of you that haven't heard, Stephanie and Brandon are officially engaged, and the SEB couldn't be happier about it! The next time you see the band, please be sure to congratulate them and wish them well as we move into the new year. They're shooting for an October or November wedding, so we'll keep y'all posted as to when it happens. We told Stephanie and Brandon that we would only schedule a Thursday and Friday gig the week of their wedding, so they can enjoy the wedding day, but we'd be back to gigging the next week on Tuesday...On second thought, we better not!

Justin (the unofficial 6th member of the band) had the chance to hang out back at his temporary home in Nashville (he's moving the family back to AZ in January...Woo hoo!) Autumn got to open presents with the family and the in-laws and from what we've heard, it was a great adventure....and it was a break for Justin from packing everything he owns into boxes for the move to Arizona. I guess that means the SEB will be spending time in January unpacking boxes for Justin. Seeing as how the Broncos have no chance of a Super Bowl or playoffs, I guess it works out OK for Justin and the rest of the gang.

John Rickard (our producer for The Red Letter Days and one of the most amazing steel players on the planet) was actually off the road for a few days and we believe he may have actually seen what his house looks like...for the first time in about six months. Thankfully, he sees his wife Wendy a little more often than that, as she gets to ride along with him on the road sometimes... John is currently on the road touring with Robert Randolph and the Family Band, so we don't get to spend a lot of time with him, but we're looking forward to working with him again in 2011 on the new album we're hoping to record in May.

As for New Year's, we are going to be home in AZ and have a great show lined up at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill in Mesa! It's our last show of 2010, and we're going out with a bang! We'll be hitting the stage at about 9 PM on Friday night and playing until about 10:45 PM. Afterwards, our friend Nick Nicholson will be ringing in the New Year starting at 11:30 PM and continuing into 2011! It's going to be a great night of live music, and it's an affordable party as well. $10 gets you in the door and includes a special champagne toast at midnight. The fine folks at Toby Keith's have also partnered up with the Hyatt Hotel next door to offer a "Stay and Play" package including dinner, a room, and the toast at midnight. You can find out more about that special offer by visiting the Toby Keith's Bar and Grill website at http://tobysmesa.com. PLEASE be safe on New Year's and plan to have a designated driver (or take advantage of the Stay and Play package). We want every one of our SEB friends and fans to have a safe and Happy New Year! Hope you can join us...

We're looking forward to another fantastic and exciting year for the Stephanie Eason Band and we hope you can be a part of it too! See you on New Year's Eve and beyond.

Thanks,

Stephanie Eason Band
